OHSWEKEN, Ont. - The St. Catharines Saints won their fourth straight as they defeated the Ohsweken Rivermen by the score of 14-9 Saturday night.
Leading the Saints offense was Corey Fowler who led all players with a a nine-point performance adding two goals and career best seven assists. Brad Favero contributed with three goals and two assists while Bryan Neufeld also added five points chipping in with a goal and four assists. Dylan Llord added two goals and two assists
Chris Attwood added two goals and two assists while Mike Longboat, Jordie Daradick, Jake McCready and Mark Debrone all chipped in with one goal and one assist each.
The Rivermen were led by Cody Jacobs who finished with a goal and four helpers. Torrey Van Every (2G, 2A) and Cory Bomberry (1G, 3A) both finished with four points each. Stu Hill had a two-goal game while Holden Vyse, Mike Miller and Logan Kane all added singles.
In goal, Saints starter Grant Crawley recorded 53 saves for the victory. Jeff Powless suffered the loss in goal for Ohsweken.
The Saints are on the road against the Owen Sound NorthStars Saturday, May 18th and return home on Friday, May 24th when they host the Oakville Titans at 8pm at Bill Burgoyne Arena.
