The St. Catharines Sr. B Saints improved their record to 2-1 on the season as the defeated the Oakville Titans by the score of 11-6 at Merritton Arena Friday night.
Leading the way for the Saints was rookie standout Dylan Goddard who finished with five goals and one assist. Goddard played CLax this winter with Durham and led OLA Jr. B Eastern Conference scoring in 2013 with 120 points adding 41 goals and 79 assists for the Clarington Green Gaels.
Corey Fowler contributed with four points adding a goal and three assists while Chris Attwood (1G, 2A), Jason Henhawk (3A) and Ryan Masters (3A) all added three points each. Rounding out the St. Catharines scoring were Brad Favero (2G), Dylan Llord (1G, 1A) and Zac Reid (1G).
Scoring for Oakville were Cam Monroe (3), Sean Gillies, Garrett Clifford and Jeff Sehl.
In goal, Saints starter Ryan Masters recorded 39 saves for the victory while Oakville's Jay Preece collected 42 saves in the loss.
The Saints next action is Friday, May 16 at 8:00 pm when they host Ennismore at Merritton Arena.
